Overview

We are a high-end , private implant specialty practice located in the Sylvan Heights neighborhood of SW Portland. Our close-knit, collaborative team consists of one Doctor, one Dental Assistant, and an Office Manager, supported by two Hygienists six days a month and a sterilization assistant on hygiene days. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a modern, state-of-the art clinical environment. We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team and help us continue providing top-tier specialty care.

Requirements

We are seeking a professional, organized Dental Assistant with excellent patient communication skills. General restorative and surgical assisting skills are required, along with strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols. CBCT, Carestream Imaging and intraoral scanner knowledge are required.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience: 1-2 years of surgical and restorative assisting
• Licensure: Radiology Certificate
• Certification: CDA

Compensation & Benefits

Details are as follows:

• Schedule: 4-day work week (Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM)
• $32.00 to $38.00 per hour depending on qualifications
• Medical Insurance allowance after 3 months
• Holiday pay after 3 months
• One week vacation pay (4 days) after 12 months

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive chairside assistance during surgical and restorative procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and set up trays and implant surgical unit following strict infection control protocols.
• Assist with patient preparation, review post-operative care instructions and make post-operative calls.
• Utilize advanced technology including CBCT, Carestream Imaging and intraoral scanner.
• Collaborate closely with the Doctor and staff to ensure a smooth, efficient clinical workflow.
