About the role
Overview
Lead Dental Assistant needed for multi-specialty solo dental practice (Prosthodontics, Implants, Oral surgery, Periodontics, Cosmetics) with minimum 4 years experience as a dental assistant. Must be proficient with the following: Dentrix paperless charting. Xray certified in Arizona. Can pack cord and make temporary crowns. Bleaching trays, mouth guards. Adjust crowns, dentures, partials. Itero Digital scans, surgical implant procedure. Photography is a plus. Digital savvy. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Utilize dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Perform X-rays and manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
- Maintain dental equipment and ensure the office is organized and prepared for daily operations.
- Support the team in Implant surgery & full mouth restoration and other specialties as needed.
- Digital scanners and photography
- OSHA maintenance and compliance
Job Type: Full-time 4- days a week
