That matters day to day. When a patient needs perio therapy, you recommend it because they need it. When they don't, you say so. You get to be the clinician you trained to be instead of managing a number.
We also have specialists in-house across periodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery - so when a patient needs more than hygiene, there is somewhere real to refer them and someone to learn from.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive care
- Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and charting
- Take and review dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and prevention
- Build strong, trusting relationships with patients
- Collaborate with dentists and clinical team on individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow all infection control, safety, and compliance protocols
- Support a calm, welcoming environment for patients of all ages
Requirements
- Active California RDH license
- Strong periodontal assessment and charting skills
- Excellent chairside manner and communication
- Patient-first mindset
- Reliable, collaborative, and calm under a full schedule
