Dental Front Office Hygiene Coordinator
Primary Integrative Dentistry is looking for a highly motivated Dental Hygiene Coordinator / Front Office Admin to fill in for 1-3 months while one of our team members is on leave. This temp position could lead to a full time role somewhere in the practice if all goes well. We are really looking for someone who wants to be part of an amazing and growing team.

Job Overview Compensation: $25-35 per hour, based on experience.
You should have an excellent track record managing a successful hygiene practice. This includes managing the hygiene schedule, filling gaps in the schedule, processing PPO insurance, batching claims, and other front office admin duties.
You should be well versed in the details of running a successful dental hygiene practice. That includes overseeing:
Customer services / phones Insurance related issues Revenue cycle management / billing Schedule management Routing slips Treatment planning for hygiene production Daily huddles Daily, Weekly, Monthly reporting

Duties
- Run the front desk and be the first point of contact on the phones for patients
- Handle patient scheduling requests and complaints
- Ensure that the hygiene calendar is always full and fill gaps constantly
- Utilize Open Dental software for scheduling and documentation review
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns
- In depth knowledge of ADA procedure codes required for every treatment plan
- Ensure all reporting is completed in a timely manner (EOD, EOW, EOM)
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in handling patient information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as phone systems and documentation review
Requirements
- Has had experience as a Hygiene Coordinator
- Some experience using Open Dental software is a big plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Intimate knowledge of medical procedure codes and scheduling practices
- Familiarity with administrative duties in a healthcare environment
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
