We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to work alongside our periodontist in delivering exceptional, patient-centered specialty care. Schedule

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (3-day work week)
Part-time schedule offering excellent work-life balance and schedule flexibility

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay: $20 - $30 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

Assist the periodontist during surgical procedures, including implant surgery
Prepare and maintain surgical rooms to the highest standards
Follow and enforce sterilization protocols
Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery
Provide thorough post-operative care instructions to patients
Assist in explaining treatment plans clearly and compassionately to patients
Ensure a smooth, efficient, and safe clinical environment

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience, preferably in a surgical or periodontal setting
X-ray Certification required
Current CPR/BLS certification required
RDA certification preferred (if applicable in your state)
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
