Overview

Vistancia Orthodontics is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Coordinator to join our growing team! In this role, you will serve as the face of our practice, specializing in orthodontics and dental sleep medicine. As the first point of contact for our patients and families, you will play a vital role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and positive patient experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and checking in/out patients
• Answering phones
• Scheduling appointments
• Verifying insurance
• Collecting payments
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Communicating with patients and clinical staff
• Helping keep our front office and waiting area clean and organized
• Utilizing Tops Ortho, Tebra Medical, Weave VoiP phones to manage scheduling, patient records, and front-office workflows

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a dental, orthodontic, or medical front office preferred
• Familiarity with Tops Ortho, Tebra Medical, and Weave VoIP phones is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and telephone skills, strong attention to detail, initiative, and a positive attitude
• Collaborative team player who is comfortable receiving constructive feedback
• Quick learner, organized, self-motivated, tech-savvy, and willing to help wherever needed
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
• Ability to work an alternating split-week schedule (Week A: Monday–Thursday; Week B: Wednesday–Saturday), including some evening shifts until 6:00 PM and rotating Saturdays until 2:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $18-22/hour (34-38 hours/week)
• Benefits: Includes Simple IRA retirement plan

Our team consists of 1 doctor, 2 ortho assistants, receptionist, 2 medical billing coordinators working in a collaborative, supportive environment. We utilize advanced technology, including iTero digital scanner, iCAT CBCT xrays, to provide the highest quality orthodontic and dental sleep medicine treatments.
