Overview
We are seeking a professional, patient-focused Dental Assistant (RDA / CDA) to join our growing general and cosmetic practice in North Scottsdale. Working alongside Dr. Selay Karbasi, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, personalized dental care in a modern, supportive environment.
About the Role
We are looking for a team player and hard worker who thrives in a positive, family-oriented, and productive culture. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with clinical setup and chairside assisting for general and cosmetic procedures, including crowns, veneers, clear aligners (Invisalign), and implant restorations (restorative phase only).
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $27-$30 per hour (based on experience)
- Job Type: Full-time / Part-time options available

About the Company
At Dentistry at Grayhawk, Dr. Selay Karbasi and our close-knit team (1 dentist, 1 hygienist, and 1 assistant) are dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care focused on patient relationships rather than volume. Our modern, state-of-the-art office is equipped with advanced dental technology, including a 3Shape intraoral scanner, digital X-rays, and panoramic imaging (pano), allowing us to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes in a warm, family-oriented atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Assist Dr. Karbasi chairside during general and cosmetic procedures (crowns, veneers, Invisalign, and restorative implants).
- Perform clinical setup, breakdown, and strict instrument sterilization/infection control protocols.
- Utilize Dentrix for digital patient charting and scheduling flow.
- Perform clinical tasks and support the clinical team as needed.
- Maintain a warm, welcoming environment for patients throughout their visit.
Requirements
- Experience: 4 years of hands-on dental assisting experience (preferred).
- Licensure/Certifications: Must possess Arizona radiography/x-ray certification, CPR/BLS certification, and active RDA or CDA certification.
- Clinical Skills: Proven experience with clinical setup and chairside assisting for general and cosmetic procedures (crowns, veneers, Invisalign, and restorative phase implants).
- Soft Skills: Strong team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a family-oriented, productive culture.
Schedule & Benefits
- Schedule: Mondays/Wednesdays 9 AM- 5 PM, Tuesdays/Thursdays 7 AM- 2 PM
