About the role
Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, patient-focused Dental Assistant (RDA / CDA) to join our growing team. Our state-of-the-art, modern practice newly opened in June 2024 on Kinderkamack Rd in the heart of Park Ridge, NJ. We are looking for a full-time professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centric care in a collaborative environment. Our brand-new office features advanced amenities, cutting-edge equipment, and a spacious staff lounge designed for our team's comfort.
Working alongside our 2 general dentists, you will gain exposure to a comprehensive range of advanced dental procedures and technologies, including:
- Endodontics (including molar endo)
- Dental implants
- 3D CBCT imaging
- Trios intraoral scanning
- Crown & Bridge restorations
- Cosmetic veneers
- Restorative dental fillings
- Preventative dental cleanings
- Clear aligner therapy
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
- Perform dental charting and update medical documentation
- Provide support to the front office with tasks such as answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Dentrix dental software system
- Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing procedures
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work Location: In person
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $27-$33/hour (commensurate with experience)
