We are a well-established specialty practice in Central New Jersey with over 30 years of experience in endodontics, periodontics, and implant dentistry. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented dental assistant who wants a long-term home and enjoys working in a team-focused office.

Responsibilities

Assist chairside with endodontic, periodontal, implant, and surgical procedures using four-handed dentistry
Prepare and break down treatment rooms, including instrument setup and supplies
Follow sterilization, infection control, and OSHA/HIPAA protocols
Take radiographs and other diagnostic records
Review post-operative instructions with patients and help them feel comfortable and informed
Keep operatories clean and well-stocked, and flag low supplies
Document accurately in the patient chart
Communicate clearly with the clinical and front office teams to keep the schedule on time

Requirements

Dental assisting experience required; specialty experience (endo, perio, oral surgery) is a plus
NJ radiography certification and CPR required, or the ability to obtain promptly
Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Dependable, punctual, and professional, with excellent communication skills
Comfortable with dental software and basic computer tasks
