About the role

We are currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice and contribute to our mission of excellent dental care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during general and specialty dental procedures
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming clinical environment following OSHA and CDC infection control protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and set up clinical trays for specific procedures (e.g., crown and bridge, restorative, implants)
- Escort patients to and from the clinical area, ensuring a warm and professional patient experience
- Manage operatory supply levels, ordering and replenishing inventory as needed to ensure seamless clinical operations
- Document patient treatment plans and clinical notes accurately within Dentrix
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 year
- Active MD X-Ray License required
- Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
- Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude

Position Details
- Schedule: Full Time - some Saturdays required
- Salary Range: $20.00-$27.00/hour
- Location: Frederick, MD
