Are you a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) looking for a great team to work with? We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide exceptional preventive care, periodontal therapy, and patient education.

Unique Smiles of McHenry is looking for an RDH to join our team while one of our wonderful hygienists is on maternity leave from November 30, 2026, through March 1, 2027.

While this position is initially for maternity leave coverage, we're hoping to find someone who could potentially become a permanent part of our team if it's a great fit for everyone!

Requirements

An Illinois-licensed Registered Dental Hygienist
Someone who is friendly, reliable, and enjoys building relationships with patients
A team player with a positive attitude
Someone who takes pride in providing quality patient care
Great communication skills and a willingness to help wherever needed

Our Office Hours

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (team meeting 9-11)

Responsibilities

Utilize open dnetal for patient charting and scheduling.
Provide high-quality preventive care, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), and periodontal charting.
Maintain a comfortable patient pace with approximately 60 min for prohy, an hour half for new patients, 30mins for kids allotted per patient.
Perform clinical duties such as xrays, SPR and patient education.
Experience: 1+ year (open to new grads)
