Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Periodontist Assistant with 1+ years in a dental surgical setting. In this role, you’ll support our surgical team, ensure exceptional patient care, and contribute to a growth-oriented, patient-centered practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in periodontal and implant surgical procedures
- Provide clear post-operative care instructions and patient monitoring
- Prepare and maintain the surgical room, following strict sterilization protocols
- Explain treatment plans and answer patient questions with empathy and professionalism
- Collaborate with the periodontist and dental team to optimize workflow and patient experience
Qualifications
-Proficient in Dentrix is a plus
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental or periodontist assistant
- X-ray Certification required
- CPR/BLS and Sterilization Certification preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills
