Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
- Assist dentists with expanded duties. This includes preliminary impressions, assistance with denture and partial denture cases, fabricating temporary crowns, digital scanning, implant knowledge, knowledge of Panoramic Xray & CBCT.
- Perform charting, digital X-rays, and patient education on procedure and post ops
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and maintain sterile operatories
- Support front-office staff with detailed patient check-out
Requirements
Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental assistant or expanded duties assistant
- EFDA or CDA certification (or state-equivalent expanded duties designation)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- State-required X-ray/radiography licensure or certification
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work Monday through Friday in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and a positive team player
Preferred
- Familiarity with dental practice management software Open Dental
- Experience with digital scanning, CBCT, or implant-assisted procedures

- Hourly pay range: $18–$25/hour, dependent upon experience
