Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist with root canal procedures and rotary instrument handling
- Prepare operatories and ensure all materials and instruments are sterilized and ready
- Fabricate temporary crowns, bridges, and veneers
- Take dental impressions using various impression materials
- Capture dental images (X-rays, intra-oral photos, CT scans)
- Provide clinical information and educate patients on dental procedures and oral health
- Document clinical notes and review patient health history prior to treatment
- Greet patients using the “Simple Steps of Service” and maintain “Relationship Links”
- Keep patients informed about each step of their visit
Qualifications
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience, preferably in endodontics
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification, if applicable
- X-ray certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
