We are currently seeking a warm, energetic, and detail oriented Dental Hygienist who loves working with children and thrives in a supportive, team focused environment. As a Dental Hygienist at The Tooth Ferry, you will play a key role in delivering high quality care while helping create a calm, fun, and welcoming atmosphere. You’ll work closely with our doctor, assistants, and parents to ensure each child feels safe, understood, and proud of their smile.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, and dental charts to ensure safe and effective care. Take X-rays while maintaining proper infection control and aseptic techniques. Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care tailored to pediatric dentistry when applicable. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical history Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly. Experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a general or pediatric dentistry setting; willing to train new graduates. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical coding standards. Demonstrated ability to review documentation accurately and perform patient assessments with professionalism and compassion. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and infection prevention practices essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment. Previous dental office or clinic experience preferred; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
