Position Overview
We’re seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist with 1+ years of experience to join us part-time. You’ll work closely with our lead dentist and three dental assistants to provide top-tier cleanings, patient education, and advanced periodontal care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, radiographs, and comprehensive oral health assessments
- Develop and discuss treatment plans, including preventative and periodontal maintenance
- Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices
- Utilize digital scanning technology to support Invisalign treatments
- Manage patient rebookings in Dentrix (training provided if needed)
- Collaborate with the team to achieve practice goals and maintain high productivity (target: 3× compensation via sales)
Qualifications
- Dental Hygienist licensure with 1+ years of clinical experience
- Certification in Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Monitoring (preferred)
- Proficiency or willingness to learn Dentrix practice management software
- Skilled in digital scanning for Invisalign promotions
- Strong communication and patient rapport-building skills
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time: 2 days per week (ideal: Monday & Thursday or Monday & Tuesday)
- Flexible hours: Mondays 9:00 AM–6:30 PM; Tuesdays/Thursdays 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
- 30–60 minute lunch break option
- One-hour appointment slots
- Competitive hourly rate: $70–$78/hr
