Overview
We are a cutting-edge dental startup looking for a talented and motivated person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the back office, the willingness to learn different aspects of the dental office and the dedication to help the dental practice grow.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly maintenance protocols on all dental equipment
- Complete inventory of supplies and make sure to give list to designated person for ordering
- Will ensure the patients are comfortable by offering any of the amenities such as TV, headphones, ear plugs, blankets, etc.
- Will complete intraoral pictures and scans or will train in order to be able to complete tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operatories, sterilization, and wherever needed
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
- Adhere to proper infection control protocol
- Run spore tests and document
- Maintain water lines by running lines after treatment days, shocking lines, testing water lines and documenting
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Take x-rays
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean work environment, which includes vacuuming and/or mopping the back
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- X-ray certification
- CPR certification
- Infection Control certification
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- 2 years dental back office experience
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) - preferred
- Willing to work on Saturdays
