Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated General Assistant with 3+ years of dental support experience to join our growth-oriented practice. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional chairside assistance, contribute to efficient patient care coordination, and help maintain our high standards for patient comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and procedural X-rays with precision
- Take digital and traditional impressions for restorative cases
- Assist chairside during composite, amalgam, and temporary crown procedures
- Fabricate and adjust temporary crowns under supervision
- Manage sterilization duties and maintain infection control protocols
- Coordinate patient care, ensuring appointments run smoothly and patients feel supported
Qualifications & Certifications
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Coronal Polish Certification preferred
- Dental Assistant Certification (e.g., DANB) preferred
- DANB X-ray Certification or equivalent required
