Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
Location
Seattle, WA (Near University Village)
Work Schedule
- Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (patient hours)
- Assistants work from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Compensation
- Hourly Rate Range: $22-36 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
- $1,500 signing bonus at 2 years

Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking an Experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our team. While training is available for candidates with the right personality and experience, we expect the candidate to be proactive in their role. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting dentists during procedures
- Ensuring patient comfort
- Maintaining dental equipment
- Managing patient records using Dentrix software

- Proficiency in using Dentrix software is required
Team Composition
Our team currently consists of:
- 3 Dentists (DDS)
- 4 Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH)
- 2 Dental Assistants (DA), with plans to hire a third
- 3 Front Office Staff (FO)
Company Background
Our longest tenured employee has been with us for over 13 years, with most staff having more than eight years of service. The opening is due to our lead dental assistant relocating out of state.
