Senior Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Perform expanded duties under the supervision of the dentist, including:
  • Preparing and polishing restorations
  • Applying sealants and fluoride treatments
  • Taking impressions and intraoral photos
  • Assisting with dental procedures and instrument sterilization
• Manage patient records and digital charting
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
• Current certification/licensure as required by state regulations
• Proficient in digital radiography and dental software
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly pay range: 20 – 25 per hour
• Work days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (flexible schedule)
