Position Overview
Join our friendly, patient-centered dental practice as a General Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional care. If you have 1+ years of dental assisting experience and a passion for helping patients feel calm and comfortable, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient chairside assistance during exams and procedures
- Take digital and traditional impressions
- Capture high-quality dental X-rays (DANB X-ray License required)
- Assist with composite and amalgam restorations
- Perform instrument sterilization and maintain operatory readiness
- Support pediatric patients in a calm, reassuring manner (experience with children is a plus)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience
- DANB X-ray License required; Dental Assistant Certification preferred
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Reliable, proactive, helpful, and kind demeanor
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Work Schedule
- Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
