Registered Dental Hygienist - $45+/Hour Minimum in Cleburne, TX

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and patient-centered Registered Dental Hygienist to join our family practice located in Cleburne, TX. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Requirements

• Possess excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, including dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
• Ability to efficiently prepare dental equipment and instruments for procedures.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills for effective education and interaction with patients and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment alongside other dental professionals.
• Experience with advanced dental technology and electronic medical records is advantageous.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures such as teeth cleaning, scaling, root planing, taking x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments.
• Conduct thorough dental assessments and oral cancer screenings to identify potential oral health issues.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized at-home care recommendations.
• Clearly explain dental problems, potential consequences, and available treatment options to patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans.
• Follow strict infection control protocols and ensure aseptic techniques are maintained during all procedures.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.

Educational Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist with a valid license in Texas.
• CPR Certification is required.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability on Monday & Tuesday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Thursday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Additional hours may be available based on practice needs.

Compensation

Salary is negotiable based on experience, with a minimum starting rate of $45 per hour.
