Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced General Assistant to join our growth-oriented, patient-centered dental practice. This full-time role (Monday–Friday) offers competitive pay and generous benefits in a supportive environment focused on continuous learning and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during general and periodontal procedures
- Capture digital X-rays using DEXIS sensors
- Take digital and traditional impressions
- Fabricate and place temporary crowns
- Assist with composite and amalgam restorations
- Perform sterilization and infection control duties
- Coordinate patient care and ensure a positive experience
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of dental assisting experience
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Proficiency with digital X-ray systems (DEXIS) and Dentrix software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
