Dental Hygienist - RDH | 4-Day Week with Dedicated Hygiene Assistant

Join our dental practice as a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) for 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive dental services. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing preventive dental care and educating patients on maintaining optimal oral hygiene.

Our hygienists enjoy the benefit of having their own hygiene assistant to help with the recording of notes and accurate charting, as well as other supporting functions during their appointments. We are a patient-focused practice dedicated to education and value the ability of all our providers to spend ample time with their patients.

Duties

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings to assess the oral health of patients.
• Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
• Take X-rays to assist in diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary support.
• Effectively communicate treatment needs with patients and staff.

Experience At least one year experience as an RDH. Knowledge of dental terminology and medical records management is essential. Experience with Dentrix.

Salary: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour Eligible for monthly bonuses after 90 days
