Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant with a background in endodontics to join our practice. You will assist our endodontic dentist in a fast-paced environment, help prepare treatment rooms, manage instruments and sterilization, assist with procedures, ensure patient comfort, and support general operational tasks as needed.
What you’ll do
Be a team player in a dynamic environment, comfortable moving between tasks and working efficiently Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and sterilize instruments while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Take and develop X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records, take digital radiographs if credentialed, and support the team in keeping schedules running smoothly Provide chairside assistance, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for treatment. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain an organized and clean work environment to enhance patient experience. Experience
Prior experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in endodontics or a busy dental practice Familiarity with dental terminology, general dentistry practices, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Proficient in using EMR systems Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and security of medical records. Experience with medical coding and documentation is beneficial. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health; familiarity with 3D scanners is an advantage.
