Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Dental Receptionist with 2+ years of experience to join our patient-centered, team-oriented practice. As the first point of contact, you’ll ensure a smooth and welcoming experience while handling insurance verification, benefit breakdowns, and coordinating hygiene appointments.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients, manage check-ins, and handle phone inquiries with professionalism
Verify dental insurance coverage and communicate benefit details
Oversee hygiene schedules and follow up on care plans
Maintain accurate patient records and update insurance information
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize patient experience
Support front desk operations on alternating Fridays and Saturdays (5 days/week)

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of dental receptionist or front office experience - must have experience filling hygiene schedule
In-depth knowledge of dental insurance terminology, billing processes, and claim submission
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Familiarity with dental practice management software preferred
Availability to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and alternating Fridays/Saturdays
