Lead Dental Assistant
We are a newer, doctor-led private practice in Phoenix that is growing quickly and building something special. We are looking for a Lead Dental Assistant who takes ownership of the back office, sets the clinical tone, and helps the team run smoothly. This is not a corporate environment. We focus on quality dentistry, great patient care, and doing the small things right.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day clinical flow and keep the back office running smoothly
- Chairside assist for a variety of procedures (surgery experience is a plus)
- Coach and support assistants, reinforce standards, and help build strong systems
- Manage setup, room turnover, sterilization, and supply organization
- Support communication between doctor, front office, and clinical team
- Create an excellent patient experience from start to finish
Requirements
- Arizona X-ray certification required
- Strong chairside skills and excellent patient communication
- Organized, dependable, and proactive
- Comfortable mentoring others and setting expectations with kindness and clarity
- Learns quickly and adapts well as a newer office grows
Bonus experience
- Surgery and implant assisting
- CAD/CAM and same-day dentistry workflows
- Inventory systems and ordering
Compensation
Compensation for this role is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process, taking into account experience and leadership ability.
Salary: $24 - $29 per hour
