Overview
Our Dental Practice provides comprehensive general dentistry, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic services. Our modern facility is equipped with advanced dental technology, including digital X-rays and intraoral scanners, to support efficient workflows and high-quality care.
We are seeking a reliable, positive, and coachable Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in supporting both patients and the clinical team, values consistency, and teamwork, and is eager to grow professionally within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take digital 2D and 3D X-rays, 3D scans and intraoral photos as needed
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures
- Assist the dentist during general, restorative, and cosmetic procedures
- Manage instruments, materials, and chairside workflow to ensure efficient appointments
- Maintain strict sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance standards
- Provide patient support, comfort, and education before, during, and after treatment
- Accurately document clinical notes and assist with charting
- Collaborate with clinical and front office team to deliver a consistent, exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant (general dentistry preferred)
- Valid California RDA license (or DA with pathway to RDA preferred)
- X-ray certification required
- Strong communication skills and patient-focused mindset
- Reliable, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Coachable, adaptable, and open to feedback and growth
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
- Experience with Laser would be preferred
- Experience with digital dentistry, scanners, or cosmetic procedures is a plus
