Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
- Assist dentist chairside with expanded duties such as placement and removal of dental materials, bonding, and polishing
- Expose, process, and evaluate dental radiographs
- Take accurate impressions and fabricate provisional restorations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain detailed patient records and uphold confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience with expanded duties certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental software systems
- Strong communication skills and patient-focused demeanor
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Schedule
- Four-day work week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
