Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while promoting optimal oral health. At Ardsley Dental Spa, we pride ourselves in being a boutique family oriented practice. We are OON with all insurance companies so we can give the patients the time and care they need. Our hygienists get 60 minutes for all recall patients and 90 minutes for new patients with the assistant taking the records and the exam already being completed. We are a very high tech office using the iTero scanner to educate our patients and Oral ID oral cancer screening.

Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Assist with chairside procedures such as applying fluoride treatments, sealants, and taking dental radiographs using medical imaging technology. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to enhance their overall health. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and documentation review standards. Support the dental team in general dentistry procedures by preparing instruments and assisting during treatments with aseptic technique. Adhere to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Skills iTero scanning and education. Oral ID oral cancer screening
Proficiency in Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and medical records management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical coding, and medical terminology relevant to dental care.
Familiarity with infection control standards, aseptic technique, and HIPAA compliance to protect patient confidentiality. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including children and special needs patients. Pay: $50-$63 per hour with production bonuses with opportunity to earn up to $75. Medical, 401k with match, disability, and PTO offered. Position is Monday to Thursday and one Saturday a month.
