About the Role

Join our friendly, patient-focused practice as a Pediatric Dental Assistant where teamwork and positive energy drive every interaction. You'll support our dentists in delivering exceptional care to young patients, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring experience for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Place dental sealants and assist with stainless steel crowns (SSCs)
Support pulpotomy procedures and space maintainer placements
Manage patient behavior and create a calm environment for pediatric patients
Communicate treatment plans and post-care instructions to parents/guardians
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Maintain sterilization protocols and prepare operatories for each appointment

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental assistant, preferably in a pediatric setting
CPR/BLS certification required
Dental X-ray certification preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to comfort anxious children
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

Schedule & Compensation

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (flexible)
Hourly pay range: $20 - $24 per hour
