Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Expanded Duties Assistant with at least 1 year of dental assisting experience to join our team. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care using state-of-the-art technology in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Assist dentists during procedures by passing instruments and suctioning
- Take and develop digital X-rays
- Fabricate temporary crowns and perform coronal polishing
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records and inventory supplies
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
- Current dental assistant certification and radiography license (as required by state)
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, materials, and infection control standards
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Flexible hours to accommodate patient needs
Compensation
- Hourly pay range: $17 - $23 per hour
