Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms to the highest standards.
- Directly assist the surgeon during a variety of oral and periodontal surgery procedures.
- Manage and maintain accurate patient records, imaging, and all pre- and post-operative documentation.
- Ensure strict compliance with all infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Educate patients on pre-operative instructions and post-operative care to ensure a smooth recovery.
- Collaborate with the entire dental team to maintain an efficient and seamless workflow.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years of direct experience in oral surgery and/or periodontal surgery assisting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-driven setting.
- Proficiency with dental software such as OpenDental or Dentrix.
- Valid X-ray certification is required.
- Certification or formal training in dental assisting (preferred).
- Current CPR certification (preferred).
- Must be fluent in English.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour.

Schedule & Culture
