Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, patient-focused Dental Receptionist with at least 1 year of experience to join our team-oriented practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive atmosphere while efficiently managing front-desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes
- Schedule and confirm appointments Monday through Thursday
- Verify insurance benefits and process claims accurately
- Collect and record payments, track outstanding balances
- Discuss treatment options with patients in a professional, supportive manner
- Maintain organized patient records using Eaglesoft dental software
- Coordinate communication between patients, dental staff, and insurance providers
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental office or medical reception role
- Proficient with Eaglesoft dental software
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processing and patient billing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, positive attitude and a patient-centered approach
