Position Overview
As a Dental Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our practice, ensuring we consistently exceed patient expectations while fostering a positive, efficient work environment.
You’ll guide the team to achieve goals, maintain high standards of care, and manage the business side of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations, including patient scheduling, treatment coordination, and staff assignments.
- Implement efficient workflows to improve productivity and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, WISHA, and other industry standards.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and inspire our team of doctors, hygienists, assistants, and front office staff.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance both clinical skills and the patient experience.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration and growth.
Patient Experience
- Lead the team in delivering outstanding patient care and experiences that exceed expectations.
- Address patient concerns and complaints with care and urgency.
- Ensure clear communication of treatment plans and costs with patients.
Financial Oversight
- Manage practice finances, ensuring revenue generation and cost control to optimize profitability.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts; engage the team in understanding their role in financial success.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven leadership and management experience in dental or healthcare operations.
- Strong understanding of dental practice operations and industry standards.
- Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and revenue cycle management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, staff, and vendors.
- In-depth knowledge of dental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Business acumen and strategic planning abilities.
- Proficiency in dental practice management software.
