Position Overview
Join a supportive, team-oriented dental practice as a New Graduate Dental Hygienist. Enjoy a friendly atmosphere, strong work-life balance, and flexible scheduling while delivering exceptional patient care.
Schedule
- Full-time: Tuesday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Part-time option: Thursdays only
- Single column hygiene schedule
- Appointment times:
- Prophy: 1 hour
- Prophy with X-rays: 1 hour 15 minutes
- New patients: 1.5 hours
- Scaling & Root Planing (SRP): 1.5 – 2 hours
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
- Take and interpret radiographs for diagnostic purposes
- Conduct oral health assessments and provide patient education on preventative treatments
- Deliver preventative therapies and routine hygiene services
- Monitor patients under nitrous oxide and administer local anesthesia as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Newly graduated RDH or equivalent licensure
- Certification in Local Anesthesia required
- Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
- Commitment to maintaining a positive, team-driven environment
