Experienced Dental Assistant
Job Overview
We are a modern, private one-doctor general practice seeking a team-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dedicated and professional team. Our practice focuses on providing preventive hygiene and minor restorative treatments, with no surgeries involved. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about dental care and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of four-handed dental assisting in restorative procedures.
- Take diagnostic intra-oral and panoramic radiographs accurately.
- Conduct impression taking for various dental procedures.
- Fabricate, adjust, and insert temporary crowns; deliver and adjust permanent crowns and implant-retained crowns.
- Adjust and insert removable prostheses, including full dentures and RPDs.
- Maintain familiarity with dental equipment maintenance and perform simple repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in dental assisting is required.
- Proficiency in all areas mentioned above is essential.
- Certifications in N202 and Coronal Polishing are mandatory.
- Must be dependable, reliable, organized, energetic, and responsible.
- A friendly demeanor and the ability to enjoy working with people are crucial.
Work Schedule
Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM. There are no weekend or evening shifts required.
