Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $25 – $28 per hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do
As a key member of our endodontic team, you will play a critical role in delivering outstanding patient care and ensuring seamless clinical operations. Core responsibilities include:
- Assisting the dentist during root canal procedures and examinations to ensure a smooth, efficient workflow
- Managing patient anxiety with professionalism, empathy, and a calm demeanor
- Taking and developing endodontic X-rays and dental radiographs as needed
- Preparing, sterilizing, and organizing instruments and equipment per infection control protocols
- Operating apex locators and handling rotary instruments with confidence
- Assisting with emergency care procedures
- Monitoring sedated patients and taking vital signs during procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records and managing appointment scheduling
- Writing treatment reports and post-operative instructions
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Ensuring full compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Assisting with administrative tasks including billing, insurance verification, and scheduling
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Licensed Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of Texas
- 1+ year of dental assisting experience
- Nitrous oxide certification
- X-ray certification
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong chairside manner and communication skills
- Proficiency in dental terminology and endodontic procedures
- Confident working with dental microscopes and patient positioning
- Excellent spelling, punctuation, and knowledge of proper dental terminology
- Organized, reliable, and calm under pressure with strong leadership qualities
- Ability to handle difficult patient interactions with professionalism and empathy
Preferred:
- Endodontic experience
- Familiarity with dental software, particularly TDO
- Experience with medical imaging techniques
