Overview
We are a general dentistry private practice seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a professional who values patient care, efficiency, and a positive clinical environment. You will play a key role in promoting oral health and providing high-quality preventive dental care.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures
- Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting
- Take X-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Assist the dentist with exams and treatment planning
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
- Provide a comfortable and reassuring experience for patients
Requirements
- Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a general dentistry practice
- Familiarity with Dentrix

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $48 - $52 per hour
